Qualisys appoints Annelie Skafte Persson as new CFO

Qualisys, a leading provider of motion capture technology, announces the appointment of Annelie Skafte Persson as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), succeeding Sofia Karlsson departing for another CFO role.

Annelie will assume her new role at Qualisys on October 25, 2023, where she will join the company's Executive Management team. She comes most recently from a position as Group CFO at Promimic AB and adds strong financial expertise to the company's growth ambitions. Annelie has previously held similar positions in several companies such as Mentice AB, Cellectricon AB, Meva Energy AB and RLS Global AB over the past 20 years.

The new CFO obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a Master’s of Science in Business Administration from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg. Throughout her extensive work experience, Annelie has made valuable contributions to organizations of various sizes, ranging from industry giants with turnovers exceeding $1 billion USD, to mid-sized companies like Qualisys, and even smaller start-ups that are either listed or owner-led.

Industry-wise, Annelie has worked with a focus on medical technology as she reveals, “I can see similarities between Qualisys and Mentice, which sells training equipment for surgeons and consists of hardware and software that is programmed to work in real-time."
